
Brynna accepted her first writing award (an adult XL T-shirt) in fourth grade for her winning essay on water conservation. She went on to become a professional writer and editor, developing publication-ready assets and powerful communications — from creative ad copy and short articles to lengthy case studies and comprehensive research reports — for many audiences and purposes. She owns Word Jones, a word-services company that has partnered with Travel Oregon, TriMet and the Portland Bureau of Transportation, along with many other government entities, nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, businesses, and creative agencies. She studied writing and English teaching and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from George Fox University.
