Bonnie Lippit

Strengthening relationships between communities and public lands managers

For nearly 40 years, Bonnie has planned and managed outdoor recreation, destination development, and tourism attractions and programs on federal public lands with the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management. As a Regional Program Coordinator for Oregon and Washington since 2000, Bonnie was a key agency player in numerous statewide committees and regional projects to strengthen gateway communities including developing State Scenic Byways, Bikeways, and Birding Trails, the Central Cascades Geotourism Project, Travel Oregon’s Rural Tourism Studios and Travel Philanthropy Programs, the Oregon Timber Trail, and the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Initiative. Bonnie has also worked abroad, completing 28 international technical assistance assignments in nine countries in Latin America and Africa with the U.S. Department of the Interior and the Forest Service.
